 Senior
Process Engineer
International Solar Electricity Technology (ISET)
is a rapidly growing Solar Energy Company engaged in the R&D and
manufacturing of next generation thin film photovoltaic cells.
ISET is commercializing its patented technology to fabricate
low-cost Copper-Indium-Gallium Selenide (CIGS) solar cells and
modules for terrestrial, portable, and space applications using
rigid and flexible substrates. Having recently expanded to a
larger facility, ISET is positioned to be a leader in the
manufacture of CIGS solar cells.
Position Summary
Under minimal supervision, develops,
characterizes, qualifies, implements and controls production
processes. Responsibilities include material and equipment
specification, definition and documentation of processes used in
the manufacture of CIGS solar cells. This individual will have
primary ownership for the control and yield of specific or
critical processes.
Responsibilities
· Monitor
and control production processes to ensure conformance to
specified requirements.
· Design,
characterize and implement new processes or process improvements
to meet yield and cost objectives.
· Create
appropriate process documentation and training tools.
· Perform
process capability analysis and implement process control
monitoring procedures as required.
· Actively
participate in company lean manufacturing and SPC initiatives.
· Participate
in engineering design reviews to insure design for
manufacturability.
· Perform
in line product failure analysis and determine corrective
actions.
· Other
duties as required.
Qualifications
· BSCE,
BSIE, BSME or equivalent education and experience
· 5-10
years experience in process engineering preferably in a high
tech environment (semiconductors, FPD’s, OLED’s, PCB
manufacturing).
· Experience
in high volume manufacturing with a high degree of automation.
· Familiar
with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
· Proficient
with Excel, Word and web based applications
· Direct
experience with Laser Applications (marking, scribing and
ablation) a positive.
