| Nanoparticle CIGS on Rigid and Flexible Substrates |
| ISET has successfully established its nanoparticle “ink-based” method for fabricating CIGS solar cells on both rigid and flexible substrates. Devices produced from nanoparticle inks on standard soda-lime glass have reached 14.3% efficiency. |
| |
| ISET has also printed CIGS onto various flexible substrates, including: |
| |
- Flexible Glass
- Molybdenum Foil
- Stainless Steel Foil
- Plastic (Polyimide) Foil
- Titanium Foil
|
| |
| Cell Efficiencies for cells on these substrates have reached 10-13% efficiency. ISET has carried out significant research toward establishing methods to fabricate monolithically integrated CIGS modules on flexible foils for applications that require extremely lightweight PV power sources. |
|
| Collaboration with ISET |
| ISET has extensive experience in development of CIGS solar cells as well as related PV technologies. With a highly experienced research staff and a 25 year history of continual technology advancement, ISET is a premier resource for collaborative joint development in thin-film photovoltaics.
